The number of affiliate
programs is overwhelming!! For about any product or service you
want to promote, there is probably several affiliate programs.
It is important to carefully consider the different programs
and make sure they are a reputable firm before committing
yourself to them.
The other side of the
affiliate equation is the products and services offered. I
personally am hesitant to promote a product or service unless I
have used them and can verify their value. The one exception
is when I know the author and his/her work precedes them and
they have consistently provided reliable and useful products.
Another important
consideration is what other successful marketers are doing and
recommend. I believe Willie Crawford to be a man of integrity,
humble and extremely successful. I joined his membership site
and have been extremely please with all the information that is
available there. It is worth way more than the admission
price. (NOTE: You know all the "free" ebooks and software
floating around? I know you have to be inundated with all the
"free" stuff and quite frankly, most of it is not worth the time
you spent obtaining it. Willie only provides access to
worthwhile products. It is nice to have someone recommend
products because there are too many to be an expert on them
all!)

programs, look at the tools they provide for their affiliates.

Ewen Chia is recognized as
an affiliate master. He is a guru at selling other people's

If you promote a lot of
affiliate programs, it is wise to build a set of minisites to
promote your affiliate programs. There are several products
that help with mini-sites.
Daniel Kelly
